Congratulations to Cavanaugh Wall Solutions, Inc. for winning Novawall’s Project of the Month for June 2019. The winning submission Blank Rome located at 1271 Avenue of the Americas (formerly known as the Time & Life Building) in New York, New York. Founded in 1946, in Philadelphia, PA, Blank Rome has expanded its locations to serving 13 U.S. cities including, the District of Columbia and Shanghai, China. With more than 600 attorneys and principal representing a broad range of clients in a variety of industries., Blank Rome is nationally recognized for its pro bono work and leading diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Over 5,200 linear feet of Novawall was installed at 37 locations on four floors by; Kevin Jones, Jonathan Batista, and Will Aponte, this installation called for a custom Midwall track that would be used to support the thicker fabrics, and the final product was flawless.
“The textiles are truly the statement piece for this installation. Fabric houses included; HBF, Designtex, and Holly Hunt. Rich velvets installed in conference rooms, leather hides in several millwork niches all in a rich navy blue and jewel-tone color,” said Jim Harris, project manager.

Completed in 6-weeks, working with velvet and leather fabrics the project is one of Cavanaugh’s most beautiful and prestigious Novawall installations.
