Congratulations to Modern Interiors, Inc. for winning Novawall Project of the Month for January 2022. The winning submission is NFL Los Angeles in Hollywood Park – Los Angeles, CA.
Kicking off the 2021-2022 season on September 9th, NFL Los Angeles became the NFL league’s new West Coast headquarters. NFL Los Angeles’ 450,000 square foot facility represents the NFL’s future. The new facility focuses on innovation, technology, and the ability to put on a state-of-the-art product. The space will also serve as the league’s media and business operations for the NFL Network, NFL.com, NFL RedZone, and the NFL app.
“Originally, the project was specified a different track system, but through our relationship with the GC, we were awarded the project and got it changed to Novawall. We installed over thirty thousand square feet of Novawall for this project; in areas that include the Control Room, where Maharam Muse and Crescendo were installed on the walls. Inspired by NFL playbooks, the Screening Room; had 2-inch Novawall installed on both ceiling and walls using Novaspan 16 Black fabric, and its design is amazing.” Says project manager Christian Mazorra.
Due to access panels and the linear light fixtures, additional seams were required. The coordination with the GC, Architect, and electrician were keys to accomplishing the client’s expectations. The coordination with the other trades was critical to the success of this project.

Completed in 28 weeks, NFL Los Angeles is a gorgeous display of integrating lighting with Maharam and Novaspan fabrics to create a seamless wall and ceiling installation.
