Congratulations to Ketchum & Walton Company (Columbus) for winning Novawall’s Project of the Month for May 2019. The winning submission is Swan Lake Event Center, located in Powell, Ohio. Opened Spring of 2019, Swan Lake Event Center is a state-of-the-art facility situated on 20 wooded acres in southern Delaware County. The picturesque setting showcases a 3-acre stocked lake with swans, ducks, fish, and additional natural wildlife. Completed just 2 weeks shy of housing its first event, Ketchum & Walton installed over 2,400 sq./ft of “cloud” space using 1,100 linear feet of; 2” Square Edge, Weltless, and Midwall in the Swan Lake Events Center. The draped floating fabric created a “cloudy sky” effect.
“Challenges of the installation came when determining the draped distance at the center and the highest point of the cloud and keeping that consistency from cloud to cloud; plus the requirement of the chandelier, being installed in the center of a cloud,” said Nick Pezzutti, project manager.

With the completion of this 2-week project; it is one of Ketchum’s most technically challenging installations, but the impressive massive beauty of the final product made it worth it!
